1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Market Capt'n ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Market Capt'n is operated by its founders and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
2. Description of Service
Market Capt'n is a software platform that connects to your Robinhood Agentic account via Robinhood's official Agent API and uses AI-driven strategy agents to analyze market data and propose trade orders for your review and approval. The Service does not place any trade without your explicit approval. You remain solely responsible for every order you approve and submit.
3. Not Investment Advice
Market Capt'n is a technology tool, not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on the platform constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a guarantee of any outcome.
All trade proposals generated by agents are algorithmic outputs based on technical indicators. They are not tailored to your personal financial situation, goals, tax status, or risk tolerance. You must conduct your own due diligence before approving any order.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to trade securities in your jurisdiction to use Market Capt'n. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Account and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Market Capt'n account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@marketcaptn.com of any unauthorized access.
Market Capt'n connects only to your Robinhood Agentic account (the account where agentic_allowed = true). We never access your Individual, IRA, or other Robinhood accounts. We never store your Robinhood password.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal and access will continue through the end of your paid period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use Market Capt'n to engage in market manipulation, wash trading, front-running, or any other activity that violates applicable securities laws or Robinhood's terms of service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Market Capt'n and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to trading losses, missed opportunities, or errors in agent proposals.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of market data, or fitness for any particular trading purpose.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
